Eden Gardens State Park is a beautiful, relaxing spot in Santa Rosa Beach! The park is located at 181 Eden Gardens Road in Santa Rosa Beach. The park is open 8 a.m. – sundown, 365 days a year. There is an honor box where you drop the correct change. The first floor of this historic home as well as picnic facilities are handicap accessible.
Wesley Homestead
Eden Gardens State Park sits on 163 acres of land that was once part of the historic Wesley homestead. One of the focal points of the property is the beautifully restored 1897 two-story mansion. Guided tours of the home are offered hourly 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Thursday-Monday to groups of 10 or less. The tour is $4/adult and $2/child under 12. The house is closed Tuesday and Wednesday and on certain holidays.
Ornamental Gardens
Another main attraction at the Eden State Park is the camellias and azaleas, along with other plants, offer plenty of color October-May, with peak blooms in March. Wander the heritage rose garden, butterfly garden, or hidden garden, or sit by the reflection pond of lilies and koi fish.

The ornamental gardens and surrounding area are the perfect backdrop for your next event. Land Activities
Start at the trailhead at the north end of the pavilion picnic area, and head out on the mile of hiking trails surrounding the property. You’ll have access to the natural areas west of the ornamental gardens. Take a short break and have a picnic under a Virginia live oak or at one of the many picnic tables around the property. There are picnic pavilions for larger groups, which include a grill.
Water Activities
The property is located on Tucker Bayou off the southeast section of Choctawhatchee Bay. Secure a saltwater fishing permit and cast a line off of the dock or seawall. Launch a canoe or kayak from the day-use area launch and paddle around Tucker Bayou, where you can connect to the Intracoastal Waterway and Choctawhatchee Bay.
