Located at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, the course is open to the public. It features some of the only elevation changes of golf courses in the area, plays a total of 6,804 yards from the back tees, and features multiple tee areas – making the course welcoming for all ages and skill levels.
Camp Creek & Shark’s Tooth at Watersound Club
Designed by famed course architect Tom Fazio and golfer Greg Norman, known as The Great White Shark after his 1981 Masters performance, Camp Creek is just outside 30A in Panama City Beach and is a par-72 cutting thorough dunescapes, pine forests, and wetlands for unmatched natural beauty during your round. Shark’s Tooth is found along 30A, tucked among the oaks and pines of Lake Powell, the largest coastal dune lake in Florida. Both courses have hosted U.S. Open qualifying rounds, and other events. If you’re coming from out of town, you’ll need to secure a temporary membership or guest pass to play Camp Creek and Shark’s Tooth, as Watersound Club is a private club.
The Links Course
Famed course architect Tom Jackson designed the 6,710-yard par 72 course has 4 tee boxes per hole so you can challenge yourself how you see fit. The course winds its way around Baytowne Marina and the Choctawhatchee Bay and includes five bayside holes. The course was rated in the top five in Northwest Florida by Florida Golf News, which includes a 4.5-star rating. Use the practice facilities for $20.
Origins
Davis Love III designed this unique course in Watersound. It is considered simple and fun for golfers of all ages and skill levels, with a flexible design that allows it to be played as a six-hole regulation-length course or a ten-hole par three by way of alternate tee boxes and auxiliary greens for a different experience each time.
